Swapped out the boot hard drive for this ssd. Makes me wonder why I never did it earlier, best thing I could have done for my older PC. Works great and has reduced boot time to seconds instead of minutes.

As prices continue to fall for solid state drives, this one caught my attention as a good value for its size. It is very fast and dropped my laptop's boot time from over 4 minutes to a mere 22 seconds.

This brought some new life to an aging PC (old Corsair SSD). The difference was night and day, even with moving between one SSD to an other. I suspect the old SSD had reached its peak performance in life.

Western Digital was a late entrant into the SSD market, but their product is excellent. It is a direct drop-in replacement for the rotational drives in my Latitude notebooks, and the speed and power savings are substantial.

Donated my 27 inch all-in-one HP to the son of a friend. Had nothing but trouble with it. I purchased this SSD for him and put it in. Drastic difference - much faster and no locking up/freezing.

Got to replace a standard HDD in an older laptop and it made a big difference in how quickly it fired up. Definitely much quicker to start up and launch programs.

I’ve always had good luck with WD products, and was in the market for a 1TB SSD. Worked right out of the box, would definitely recommend for someone looking for a good value SATA drive.

The PS4 pro seems to bottleneck the full speed, but still makes a noticeable difference regardless, reducing pop-in and loading quicker. On PC is where it shines. I sometimes don't even get loading screens.

Bought a lot of these...best investment to stretch out the lifespan of your aging PC...twice as fast as a standard drive and no moving parts...

Setup was easy using the WD software to transfer data from the old drive to the new. You just need to go to the WD site to download the app. Working great so far!

A solid state hard drive is really the way to go. Get rid of that clunky traditional hard drive and avoid the inevitable crash. BB and GS will set ya up. They’re OGs when it comes to computing.

Great product. Fast and easy to install. And the speeds are a win. A bit much for a 1 trb maybe at 80 bucks would be a better price. But overall great.

I went from a very old hard drive to a new solid state drive. The performance has been great. I feel I went to a more reliable and faster device that will work for many years.

Thanks Best Buy for putting this SSD on sale. I purchase 2 right away it’s a steal for $114 each. Also bought the Insignia enclosure. Backed up all my files from 2004 to 2019 and have a peace of mind of SSD.

great ssd it gets the job done not the fastest drive and not the slowest but its a good budget SSD I've had it over a month and had no problems with it.

Purchased this SSD to replace my HDD. Definitely inproved the performance of my old desktop PC. Since I'm a Total Tech Member, Best Buy installed it for free!

I have been taking lots of photos with my iPhone and iPad and need to free up some space. This hard drive is fast and has plenty of room. And the Deal of the Day price was icing on the cake.

This thing has some bang for your buck. While it’s not as large as some other SSDs, it’s stable, easy to install, is working wonderfully.
