Good mid-tier drive. Prefer PCIE or Samsung though

This is a SATA 3 drive and it will max out around 550 mb/s read write. Yes the Samsung pro and evo do outperform this, but they are more expensive. If you can use PCIE form factor, you can get minimum 2x the speed, if not 4x. Old technology, but still works great for what it is.

A Solid SSD Choice

The speeds are what I expected out of a ssd would give a perfect score if it came with some screws. Also the setup is new to me but a quick Google search fixed that for me. Other then that I have no complaints.

Some issues ??

It had a 1TB SATA hard drive in it that ran all the time and problems running videos without buffering a lot. I thought this would stop that problem. It did not. I also installed Windows 10 on it and the next day it would not boot. I reinstalled Windows 10 and the next day it would not boot again. In all fairness this might be an issue of the computer being so old that its drivers just did not like a SSD drive. I had this same issue on another 6 year old computer but increasing Ram and running Windows 8 fixed that issue. I just wonder why the 1TB SSD drive would run Windows 10 on the old computer but not the 1TB SSD drive.
