WD is a trusted brand and I have had several WD products. It was very easy to install after googling what to do if SSD isn't recognized. Wish tips like that were in the box.

It was easily swapped into place in the laptop and the operating system installed. It loads programs and data much faster but the best part is that the new drive, being a solid state drive, is not as sensitive to rough handling as the old hard drive was.

New life for old PC

Cleaning it out and removing programs only does so much. I have plenty of RAM and the processor never seems to be taxed, but the drive queue is constantly backed up. After replacing the mechanical HD with this SSD, it was like a new PC! I can't say enough good things.

I've never had an issue with a WD hard drive in the nearly 10 years I've been using them.
