Cloned my existing HD to this SSD, swapped the drives and everything worked fine. This drive reduced windows boot form over 1 minute to under 5 seconds!

Installed this SS drive after my "old" hard drive crashed...it is a good choice for your files and such....less chance of failure. Runs super fast. 1TB is good enough for me! Geek Squad installed and transferred old files over. YAY!

This was my first foray into SSD from the mechanical hard drive. The drives are so physically light you almost have to check that the box isn't empty. I installed one inside each of my laptops and cloned them. They both boot and access noticeably faster. My older laptop also doesn't heat up as fast as before.

Bought this 1 TB SSD to replace a 1 TB HDD. Installation was easy. Took and image of the old drive, installed the new one, and restored the image to the new drive. Turned on the compute and everything just worked, the way things should be. Computer is much faster to start up and launch applications.

Good SSD hard drive. Not expecting long life for this version, but so far does a decent job. Needed it in an older laptop that the HDD was slow. Helped give it some extra life for the kids to use. We didn't need the 1TB, but was on sale for less than a 250/500

I used the free Acronis software from WD to clone my Seagate hybrid 1tb drive. The software download and cloning took less than 20 minutes. Installed this on my HP Envy x360 laptop that was purchased in 2016 and that takes a few minutes to open because of the 10-12 screws. So everything was about 30 minutes and now I have faster boot/shut down times. Programs open much faster and I'm thinking about buying another for my desktop in the future. I have multiple drive bays and at this price it is totally worth the extra storage space. I bought this because my laptop had a very long boot up time and closing the laptop was easier than shutting down. Having a 1tb storage space is very good as well even though I use an external hard drive for everything else.

Bought this as an HD replacement/upgrade for an older laptop. Incredibly simple to install and the performance is night and day from where it was. If you're looking for a cheap-ish way to get some significant SSD storage into your machine and don't care about having the absolute edge of technology, look no further.

You have noticed that when you are using Windows, the computer takes time to do background OS tasks that for me would virtually lock up my computer and prevent me from using it. Even thought it has plenty of RAM and it's an Intel i5, Windows updates and Windows tasks would take the drive hostage. I got fed up and upgraded to this solid state and now everything is just as it should be. No more waiting for Windows to finish doing whatever it's doing. The best upgrade you can do to your computer. I tried cloning the previous drive, but it did not work. It was very frustrating getting everything to work so I just ended up reinstalling Windows on the new drive and even then it didn't go so smooth. I ended up spending the day setting up the drive, but this varies on hardware and other things.

Works like a champ. Bought to replace a regular laptop hard drive that was on it's last leg. So much faster than a mechanical drive. I went from a several minute boot up to maybe 10 seconds from power on to desktop.

Put this in my PS4 to speed it up a bit and it definitely did the job. Solid price and pretty straight forward. No fancy bells and whistles in this thing, but if you’re looking to upgrade from a HDD like I did, then this is great.

I have several PCs...and I have install this SSD into them. They run seamlessly with my Samsung SSD which was 2 times the price. I have other WD Blue SSDs and none of them have failed yet and I run my computer all day almost everyday. Definitely worth every penny. Thanks Best Buy.

This is my go to drive when replacing/upgrading HDD. Fast and inexpensive for the amount storage space. So far, knock on wood, all of the drives have not experienced any issues! I always keep an eye out for sales and pay right around $100 for 1tb SSD drive.

The drive works with my iMac. I formatted it to Apple’s extended journal and got it working as an external drive right away. Speeds are good and it doesn’t get blistering hot. As an average user I can’t tell the difference between this and Samsung Evo that I also own but time will show.

My SATA drive froze up, made a perfect time to upgrade to a solid state drive. It is smaller so there is only one screw to hold in place unless you want to drill bu it is light weight so not needed. All connections hooked up with ease. Fast and so far reliable.
