It's a case, not anything to rave about other then it fits the hard drive perfectly, and has enough stiffness to protect it from any unfortunate situation. Very nice and I always get this to go along with my external hard drives.

This case is constructed very well for protecting my Passport portable hard drive. The outside of the case is hard enough that I feel the drive is really well protected. The only downside is that it's a little bigger inside than the drive is, so the drive can move around a little bit. It's easy to put in a little padding of some kind, like bubble wrap, to deal with this.

Sturdy and harder case for a better protective cover. Enough space I can actually put two external hard drives in it too! Great product in every way and worth every penny--especially the extra peace of mind it provides knowing you don't have to worry about your drives, important documents and other saved items being well protected and secure.

IF YOU TRAVEL OR TAKE A LOT OF PHOTOS THEN YOU NEED THIS CASE TO KEEP ALL YOUR THUMB DRIVES SAFE AND YOU ALWAYS WILL KNOW WHERE THEY ARE INSTEAD OF LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR THEM BECAUSE THE THUMB DRIVES ARE SO SMALL

This was bought because I bought myself a new portable external hard drive, and needed a new case to go with it. This case is of the solid exterior variety (it has very little give in the surface), and feels like it will protect the hard drive if you drop it (in the case) from a reasonable height. Inside it has all the typical straps to hold the drive in place, and pickets to hold wires and instruction manuals. My one grumble would be that it doesn't fully open, so if you've a larger portable drive (the one I bought was 4TB), it's going to be snug getting it in.
