This was made for the WD branded latest model backup portable drives and they are solid, very protective and they look good too. Other cheaper options are available but many not as protective as this model.

I was looking for a strong case for my hard drive. This is a good case.

I have several External USB Hard drives to back up a number of computers. I have cases for those I take on travels and even to the office. The carrying case I bought at Best Buy was excellent, good quality, and at a good price. I would buy it again.

Its a case. It works as intended. The zipper zips easy. I've not dropped it on the floor yet with the Passport drive inside but I don't recall that's its a shockproof case. Simplistic and does its job. Good protection for my WD ultra drive when on the road.

I use this case for my Seagate Backup Plus 2TB external hard drive and it does the job.

This is a very well made and solid case. It's as close to hard sided as you will get, holds the drive tight and secure without shifting/play and short of dropping it, you've got great protection for your digital investment.

It's just what I was looking for..a sturdy carrying case for my portable devices.

I use external drives extensively, usually have about 4 in my computer bag (I'm a print graphic designer, HUGE files). I know that my drive is well protected in this case and the pop out ensures that I can store the cable safely without scratching the case of the drive. This is the third one of these I've purchased, two for WD Passport drives and the third for the Seagate 5 TB portable drive I just bought (which fits it perfectly). When I need another one, this is the only case I'll be looking for.

I purchased the Wd - Carrying Case For Select Passport Portable Hard Drives for my thin drives that I load demo software on. The case is so solid and zips around securely. I plan on buying a few more as they do the job and are very inexpensive.

The carrying case is very practical for protecting the hard drive when travelling.

This case fits my hard drive perfectly. It is not fancy and is a great price
