Only Adequate Protection

It is OK but would be better if it had a little more space to allow the USB cable that you need to use to connect it to something to be stored comfortably as well. You can get the cable in as well, but it is really tight if you do. I would have liked go compare it with a Insignia hard case to see if that had more space but that case wasn't carried at the store and if I ordered it the arrival date was after I was leaving on trip, so this case was my only choice.

Great protection for my hard drives

It works well, keeps shock from the unit, protects it from abrasion while in my backpack, etc. I got a great deal on a WD 4TB Easystore. The labeling doesn't include the Easystore line for this carrying case. But it DOES fit. So now I carry both of my external hard drives in their own case. And they still look like new....

I have a few 4TB WD drives and tranfer files back and forth to work daily. The hard shell has so much protection built in that you can literally drop your drive in it without worry. It has a clam shell type opening just big enough to slip in the drive under the secured strap and the cable in the mesh upper compartment.
