This case is a nice size that fits into a backpack so well I forget it's there. It's also sturdy enough for when I drop it on the floor...

It is sleek, small, strong, easy to store, but needs more space inside for the USB cable.

Although I don't see this case as extremely necessary, it IS nice to have around for transportation/protection of the external drive. Works perfectly for what it claims, only slight complaint is that after putting the cord in the little inside pocket it's a bit of a tight fit, but It's really not much of a problem. Good product.

I bought a WD 3TB external drive and this carrying case is a perfect fit for it. Material is high quality, the zipper is very strong and cables are stored easily. Definitely a must-buy.

I looked around for a case that would protect my ssd passport and found this one. Its great and very functional.

Got this case for another WD drive I have and it has performed flawlessly. Has enough space for the drive, cables, and a couple of other items if need be. Since I got another drive, I needed another case so I got this one again. No need to look for an alternative knowing this case works great.

Worth the investment to make sure your portable drive keeps working

This case hold my passport back up drive and fits nicely but wish it open up wider but thats the only issue with it.

My only complaint with this product is that I feel like I had a hard time fitting the cord, hard drive, and manual in the case. I like to keep all papers and cords together.

Just like a computer a hard drive must have a case. However, I have had cases that have had storage for flash drives and sd cards. Well, I just wish this had extra storage.

I purchased this to keep my WDssd protected. It definitely does the job and there is room for cords.

So i didnt know, they made a drive case, how cool is that, i was using an old fabric case to carry the drive, which just covered the drive, didnt protect the drive at all...So i bought this WD Drive case, and i couldnt be happier...protects the drive really well...glad i bought it.

I really wasn't expecting much from this case since it was pretty cheap. I needed something to protect my hard drive while in another bag. This case is EXCELLENT. It is not squishy and is more hard shell and has an inside pocket that is great for the cable.

This is a very very snug case. Fairly hard shell. It feels like it will give great protection.

People typically buy external drives with one of two intentions - to leave it at home, or to take it with them when they're "on the go". If you're part of the first group, ignore the rest of this review, and don't even bother with a case. As for those who are part of the second group, do yourself a huge favor...immediately add this to your cart, & get it ASAP. Technically, it's a "soft" case, but in the form-factor of a "hard" case.

It looks small but the case is the perfect size. It fits just right for nearly every hard drive. I'd bought the WD- my passport ultra and it fits like a glove. Peace of mind is incredibly important when purchasing a hard drive! Don't forget it!
