I needed a case for my 1GB WD Passport that I primarily use for work purposes. I first purchased the hard case that WD makes that is the same price as this one. When I got home I noticed that the hard case does not have a place to store the USB cable. I returned the hard case and bought this model. I have had no problems with this product and it has been durable enough to withstand some rough job sites. It has a nice pocket on the inside to store the USB cable and the inside is lined with a soft fabric.

I bought this case along with a WD hard drive to keep it safe and secure when traveling and going to class. This was exactly what I wanted.

I got this at the same time I bought my 1 TB WD drive and it fits perfectly. It comes with a velcro cable tie to keep the usb cable nice and tidy while the hard drive stays in the main compartment. I also keep a microfiber and an SD card in the secondary compartment on the inside and it fits perfectly.

The case is sturdy, strong, and hard shelled. I'm not afraid to drop it and believe that if I do, the hard drive will be well protected. The case is also stylish and easily stored since it's not bulky. I would recommend it.

This is well made and seems to do decent job of protecting the WD portable hard drive. Cheap insurance to protect the HD and all the info contained there. Get one if you value your files.

Light-weight and easy to store. Good size for my WD external hard drive.

Looked like canvas in the pictures, but it's more like ballistics nylon on a hard case that has a microfiber interior with a divider that will keep the drive and cable separates. I have the My Passpoet Jltra Metal Edition (Silver) and there's not evenness a scuff on it despite the cable and drive being a very snug fit in the case. I have dropped it while in the case more than once with no problems whatsoever. These are inexpensive enough to be no brainers -- particular for drives meant for travel.

Quality case at a fair price. This was bought to protect the external drive I also purchased. This case will do the job well.

I purchased this storage case when I purchased the external drive. The case provides adequate room for the drive and the connection cable.

I bought this case to carry some portable microphones I Use. It's not too bulky, but it's sturdy enough to protect the mics.

Fits the external hard drive perfectly. So small and perfect

Fits the hard drive perfectly with room for other things too - the hardshell case is small like the drive so you can take it along whenever you need to and don't have to worry about the hard drive getting damaged.

I carry my external hard drive in this case. It has a hard outer case that protects the hard drive and keeps it secure.

Purchased with the HD because my daughter travels frequently and needs the information stored. It has been perfect and kept the hd in great condition.

Bought my passport and couldn't help but notice they had a carrying case also how could you not get one!!
