Hardcore gamer? I definitely recommend buying one of these. Especially western digital brand, can never go wrong Absolutely love my external hard drive

It works good i suppose for what it does but im kinda disappointed because i specifically got it to work on my ps5 which im like 100% sure it says it works on and it does EXCEPT it only like saves ps4 games i can play all my ps5 games still take up space on my console. I want a hard drive that i can transfer my ps5 games on and keep al my memory free on my console not just my ps4 games i have a ps5 i dont want to get or play ps4 games anymore.

Configured for a gaming backup and I wasted a day because my first backup was 25% bigger than the drive I back up. I had to reformat the drive using the exFAT rather than the default NTFS.

Fastest external hardrive ive used. Highly recommend

it's not as fast as my 18TB WD drive. I use both for the same type of storage.. But this one ascetically loks better where it's being used.

so far no real problem I did have to format it. But I knew I would. Not quite as fast as I expected, I am using just USB 3.

don't know why they have to say BLACK! If hard drive was white would they say WHITE? Doubt it would probably just say HARD DRIFVE!!! Watch yourself WD real TASTELESS!!!!!!

It is great but wish I'd known ps5 could only handle 8tb.

This drive is a bit faster than the WD easystore but otherwise works exactly the same way. The read speed is noticeably faster, (although not by much when doing bulk transfers,) while the write speed is slightly faster. For the discounted price, it's a good drive.

Works great on my PC however it is not compaitable with Xbox Game Pass PC games since they are a different file type.

Its good for what it is, this 8tb ssd is good for storing ps4 games and ps5 games

I really needed the space so I got this one because it has a decent read/write speed. I noticed that having it in the stand. The arm started to struggle and is now making noise so I laid on the side now like normal people do with the disc drive. I haven't lost my data and the software it came with says that it is okay. I went with a disk drive for the long-term storage. But I'm kind of regretting it.

This thing is a pretty good at loading xbox 360 games and standard xbox one games a little faster than a 5400 rpm HHD. Would recommend for sure.

I bought this as my backup drive for my PC and media server. Runs fast, quiet, and my backup time has been cut in half and flawless. A great value for a high end drive.

Great at store games from steam and is quick at loading them.

It is ok but I was expecting a bit better than Toshiba and the other brands.

Works great so far. I have all my games installed and load times are good.
