The issue that I am having is that it can not be use to play PS5 games. I wanted to have additional space for my games. It can play ps4 games but you can only store ps5. If you want to play a ps5 game you need to move it back to the ps5. As a back up hard drive it works

Transfer speeds are extremely slow. It seems that the device has to wake up each time I try to access it. If you only want to use it for extra storage, then I think it would be an okay purchase. But if you wan to utilize and constantly connect to it, I would get something else.

Poor customer service

It was never delivered. I was told that it was returned as undeliverable. I was never told why it was undeliverable. I contacted customer service and was assured that it would be delivered by end of day. It was not delivered. Contacted customer service again and was told that I my money would be refunded. I stated that I did not want a refund, I wanted the product. They said that they could not do that and suggested that I order it again. Needless to say I will be shipping elsewhere.

If you want to use it as a media server on a router, you may have to format to NTFS like I had to do for Netgear router to recognize. So far, it is working well.

Clicking noises at purchase. Thought it was normal. Couldn't bring it back because past the return date. Never got a chance to use the thing.

Slow perfomance and too noisy!

I have a primary ssd drive and 32Gb so i know my daily perfomance is not the problem.

I plugged it in, went to access the drive and it gave me an error and then couldnt be recognized as a drive. I had to put it on my windows machine to repair. I bought the lacie rugged one and its been great fir years. Im houng back to that one!

Downloaded the WD software and began to troubleshoot but the drive was not recognized by either computer. As soon as the power cord was connected the drive made loud click noises followed by 3 loud beeps
