    I've only owned this for less than a month. So far, so good. I'm glad everyone mentioned the noises that it makes. Coming from a data recovery background, its knocking and grinding would have been disconcerting if I didn't know that was normal for this model. At least the constant high pitched spinning isn't louder than most fans.

    I’ve been putting EVERYTHING on this bad boy. Movies, tv shows, music, pictures, everything. Too much storage space but that ain’t a bad thing

    8tb of storage is the best part of this purchase. It is overpriced when you can buy a HDD and an adapter. You’ll save money but this is a all in one solution that makes it easy to store games. I use it for my laptop.

    I purchased this external hard drive for extra storage on my PS4. So far no complaint's, very easy to hook up and format. It does need a power cord, that is included. Will not run off of the PS4 alone, must be plugged into a wall outlet.
