Exactly what I needed for extra storage, works great!

Worked as intended, set up was intuitive and simple. Only difficulty was due to the limitations of the PS4, but the hard drive is functioning perfectly as reservoir for my gaming clips and other precious memories.

Since the computer, also new, has a relatively small hard disc of 1 TB, I got the 8 TB external because my 12 years of 3-D pictures take up a lot of storage space, and the flatties some more.

Slow, noisy, extremely awkward sized power brick (blocks 2-3 outlets depending on wall or power strip), VERY short cord. I have 4 WD_Black external USB drives. 3 are 5TB and average 30-35MB/s. This one at 8TB averages 3-4 MB/s. It's literally 1/10th the speed of the other drives, formatted the same (APFS, tried NTFS and exFAT too just in case). Tried it on 5 different computers just in case. Just avoid.

I went through 2 segate hard drives before this that only lasted a day before they gave out. I’ve had this for over a month now, and it is great! Not a problem at all so far. Hoping it continues to work.

Easy to set up and the size isn’t that big which is good if your gonna take it with you everywhere you go. Also from time to time makes a noise which isn’t distracting at all l love it

Using it for long term storage, for a while had it hooked up to a nas ... it works so far and for a traditional HD it is pretty darn fast. No complaints.

Works great. Read and write speeds are perfect! Now time for me to install my entire Steam library.

Although the first hardrive was doa when setup, return and replacement was very prompt. The second one I’m on has worked flawlessly for what I’m using it for.

this holds alot of my playstation games. had a 2 tb, but it filled up quickly. this will last a lifetime.

This thing is way bigger than I thought it would be, and even has it's own stand. I got this for extended storage on my ps5 and it works. It has a ton of space to store ps4 games.

Originally, I intended to buy a smaller external; however, after I bought this one I'm glad I did. It will take a while to use all the space this has.
