Excellent Drive for storage!

Those are still going strong but needed more storage. You can open these up as well and pull out the drive for desktop usage, which I do as well! Overall excellent buy.

Great solid backup drive with enormous capacity

I love the storage capacity, the software and the WD reliability record especially in relation to Seagate. I have two similar but smaller capacities WD HD being used fir backups. They have been in use for 4 and 6 years and no failure issues. I gave up on Seagate about 4 years ago because the kept failing after 3 years or sooner.

Hard to go wrong with WD external hard drives

All have performed well and are going strong. I am a pack rat and am paranoid about losing my files. I plan to use this 10TB easystore as an extra backup for important files and and larger files. You can never have too much storage space. WD is a great and reliable brand.

Great HardDrive with lots of storage!

I've had 0 problems with it so far and am very pleased. It comes with a backup software you can use to backup your other drives with. NOTE: the actual space of this hard drive is closer to 9TB as whenever buying a hard drive you lose about 8%.

Great price for 10TB

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this drive on sale and shucked it (removed it from the case) and installed it inside my desktop to store videos and HD audio. I was hesitant that the USB performance would not be good enough for 2160P HDR videos so I wanted it installed internally. Performance is as good as the other HDD that came with my desktop. Be advised that doing this will void any warranties and most of these drives require you to tape over a power pin to get it to work. Sounds complicated but really pretty easy. Plenty of videos on YouTube explaining the procedure. Very economical, high quality 10TB of storage.
