Excellent storage drive with huge capacity. I also have WD 8TB easy store drive, so I know what to expect before buying. Both the drives are excellent for storage and are extremely reliable. Been using the 8 TB for little over an year and had no problems what so ever. Expecting the same with the 10 TB as well.

10 TB for about $200. I've had a number of WD Passport drives in varying sizes and all have performed perfectly. This one is a little less convenient because of its physical size, but since I'm using it for backups, not to carry around, the physical size is not a problem. And the Thumb drive is just gravy.

Have been using (10 TB) as a backup drIve for Synology NAS. The only thing I would wish is for a dedicated power switch, but the easystores don't seem to have. Thinking about getting some 8 TB drives to shuck for NAS to upgrade the 4x 2tb WD Reds currently in it.

I bought this during a recent sale and my only complaint is that I didn't buy at least one, two or three more. Great drive for the money, with a solid WD drive inside. Extremely quiet, fast, and seems to live up to it's billing. I'm a huge fan of the WD Easystore line of drives and plan to buy many more.

Worked well, very easy setup and tab 3,0 which is great. Love the fact that it has 10tb storage which is what I needed.

I am a professional photographer and have two raid stations and am using this to back-up the terra-stations. This is a huge hard drive and is great for storage but it does not allow for a raid system so I only use it for backup and turn it off when not in use. I have found WD drives very reliable...

Bought when it was the deal of the day, great size for price. I've bought a few drives from other online retailers and those usually fail too quickly. This one however I've had for about 6 months with no problems, all the best buy drives I've had have lasted me for years. Great product.

I love it! I am storing hundreds of video tapes on this external hard drive and it works flawlessly. My playback is perfect and this has tons of space which is what I needed. I bought on a super sale, so I am in geek heaven! No hold ups. No slow downs. Wide open spaces for video content. Get it!

I'm still amazed that we have single disk drives that are are 10tb in size! This one is 5400 spin RPM, but that really doesn't seem to matter any more. I'm seeing read/write of 120MB/sec via USB 3 on my MBPro which is plenty fast for large storage of this kind. Quiet and reliable so far!

these drives are wd red helium filled nas drives...couldnt be happier i dont need the enclosure so i take them out and put them in my server, i have 11 running now no issues, with a stack of 6 more outside my server waiting to be added...these drives are the best bang for the money

I have had external drives lose connectivity, and disrupt my backups. This holds the connection through many reboots. It is filled with backps and videos, using over 9TB, with just under 1TB to go. Very pleased how well it operates. I bought a second to do mirror backups.

10 TB drive and a really cheap price. You can also "shuck" it and take the drive out if you don't want the enclosure.

I have a lot of Inventor files to archive, so a few of these should do the trick. The old ZIP Drives got to go since they are all dying on me. Maybe I can digitize everything and then store them on these. Hmmmm.... are they helium style? I have to look into this.

Easy Store Backup is great. I do not do computers very well but I know my files should have a backup on a routine basis. This does an auto back up on a scheduled basis and has enough file space I will not have to worry for a long time. The Geek Squad even set it up for me.

With the holidays it has taken me a while to actually use. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to hook up and get started. The one feature I would have liked that is not there is the ability to backup from a specific date. But for the price and size I am pleased.

Added to my router via the USB port. Have access to it from any of my three computers. Used primarily to store scanned images from both a slide scanner (RAW) and from a flatbed scanner. Working fine, giving another level of storage backup to my network along with my NAS.

Bought this to add storage to a WD EX2 NAS. It runs quiet and does not generate any noticeable heat. I loaded 6 TB of data to it and it took a while. Other than that it has been good. Very tempted to extract the drive out and put it into the NAS. But that will wait.

As we accumulate more and more files, larger storage capacities for backup are a must. I upgraded from an 8TB storage drive to this one. The only thing jarring was the relatively small size of the USB flash drive. A 32GB USB is not at all a good match for anyone who has reason to purchase a 10TB external HD. If you want to sell anything as a pair, I would offer at least a 128GB or 256GB USB flash drive. A 512GB flash drive would actually be a much more enticing pairing.

I'd always like WD external harddrive. I also have a 8TB easystore which's great by itself and never gave me any issue. I haven't compared the speed between these two drives but the 10TB version seems to operate even quieter than the 8TB which is a pleasant surprise.

Great addition to my storage options. Lots of storage plus you can format to work with both Windows as well as Mac so sharing files with others is seamless regarding of whet type of computer everyone has.
