I've got 4 of these now, in a RAID5 configuration. They're a little slow to spin up, and the cages seem to be only passively cooled. WHen I need to run them for more than a few minutes I've got a desktop fan blowing across them to keep them from getting too hot. At the sale prices they've hit over the holidays and a couple of times since, they're an awesome deal!

I have had a number of these Western Digital USB drives and they function well in general. The price per space is incredible. Buying a good case is important if you carry these around a lot.

Purchased several of these devices to be used for transferring data files, as well as removing the hard drives to be used in nas server. Excellent price for quality helium filled hard drives.

Works great so far. Storing a ton of movies and TV shows on it. No problems. Transfer speeds seem fine. Streaming remotely via plex works fine. Very happy with this purchase so far. Ok then.

The setup is very easy. 9TB usuable. Transfer speeds are consistent.

Massive storage at a good price. Should have me covered for awhile.

Overall, good hard drive. A little noisy compared to my Seagate but those are smaller. Not sure compared to other 10 tb drives. Since I will have this unplugged and only use when I backing up files and unplugged rest of time, not worried about it. Not sure how long it would last if used constantly. At the price I paid on sale it was a steal and worth it.

Grabbed this gem while on sale and am very happy I did so. A ton of storage for photos and backups to last quite a while. No issues to report the device works flawlessly with Windows 10.

The hard drive is great for size and speed. I have found 1 instance where I left a window open and went back later and it had closed as if the drive had disconnected and reconnected. I haven't really seen any other issues with it. The thumb drive is next to useless thanks to its USB 2.0 speeds. I am thoroughly underwhelmed with the included thumb drive.

I really love WD it was my #6 HD I never have any problem and this is why I stick always with WD, this one has extra 32 GB USB what is always handy if you need a quick small storage.

Been using it 24/7 for a few months now and have yet to experience any issues. The bonus 3.0 flash drive was a nice touch which I've just been using to keep a windows install on it.

So far the drive has performed as expected. No problems coping to or from the drive. I purchased on a black friday deal so there was no beating the price and the usb drive was a nice bonus.

Now i have something that can handle all my media! Speeds are enough to keep the files moving at ~120mbps read and write. Thankfully it doesnt affect my plex server performance being USB

nothing bad about this. I got this hard drive on black friday because of the great price. Plus it came with a handy 32GB flash drive. great hard drive. amazing they make 10 TB HDD's now.

The size of this drive is huge. I have a lot of video files, movies and pictures that I wanted to have a backup of. This allows me to store all of them and have room for future growth.

Western Digital Easystore + 32gb flash drive thrown in. Hard to resit. Both work well though the flash drive did get a little hot when continuously writing to it.

Shuckable for white label drive not requiring 3.3v mod. Gonna grab another when they drop back to 1 7 9.
