I have been happy with my WD external drive purchases over the years. I got this 10tb drive on sale to backup some of my other drives I use for video and photography work.

Straight forward setup with a good $/tb. I've only had it for a week, so we will see how the drive holds up over time. Comes with a 2 year warranty which is reassuring.

I've had several of these hard drives in smaller capacities and all have performed very well and this was a lot of storage space for the money and easy to setup and use.

I've only had this hard drive a few weeks, but it has been working quite well. It was very easy to set up and start backing up my info. Its sleek design looks very nice.

I have lots of digital media and this hard drive allows me to store it all in one place. Great for video files, photos and other documents. Recommended.

I started buying these about 6 months ago. I upgraded most of my 8tb drives to these. The extra 2tb adds up. I highly recommend these and the thumb drives are a bonus.

Well, thus far the hard drive is working really well. I'll have plenty of storage space for to back up my graphic design projects and work documents for a long while.

Excellent big capacity drive for storing large amounts of music and movies collection or other valuable treasures like photos or vacation videos.

Love my purchase. Can never have enough storage. I take lots of photos and had to resort to shooting in jpeg instead of RAW because of limited space on my computer.

I bought about 6 of these (from varying places) and then shucked them and threw the drives into a server. They’re working great!!! Thumb drive is a nice bonus too!

This is one of my greatest purchase. This fulfills my extensive video studio related storage needs. Will buy it again soon.

No bad or uncorrectable sectors but these things get very hot. Will easily work their way up to 52C without fan on them. I bought a little USB fan and have it running over the top of these many external WD drives I have. Keeps them in the 35 - 42 range now based on (idle - heavy load).

For the price of 180 you get tons of storage and it’s good for backing up important files

I have been using it for several weeks so far and have had no problems. 10 TB is an awesome size. Connected to my Win 10 laptop via USB hub and that is working too.

This WD 10TB storage drive acts as a portable backup for my NAS. I take it when traveling for emergency offsite access to my files.

Best Buy had the best price anywhere for this drive plus the bonus USB drive that's included. I only buy WD hard drives and this one has not disappointed so far.

Bought this hard drive to store my photos. USB 3 connection makes it quick to copy files from SD card to the external drive. It was easy to set up. However the drive is quite noisy. I definitely know when it is being used to copy files. But I did not expect it to make other random noises when it is not being used.

If purchased when on sale, it makes for a heck of a deal. I’ve been running two with an always on laptop to use as a media server. I’ve had zero issues with them.

I bought 2 of these to go in a home NAS running PLEX. I "shucked" them and found WD white label Red drives. This is a much cheaper option than buying bare drives.

Purchased on line and picked up in store within an hour. No problems and very easy. Hookup was easy and fast and runs smooth and quiet. I am very happy so far.
