Great for NAS backup

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have a 10TB NAS and needed a way to back it up without setting up a whole new NAS system. This one does an excellent job at it. I've configured the Qnap NAS to basically use Hybrid Sync to perform the backup every day. I wish it had network option so that I could keep the hard drive in another location but it's not the end of the world. Do I trust the hard drive? Yes but would not rely on it as all of these mechanical drives are prone to failure. It's just matter of time.
