Installed on our new Xbox One X, since Game Pass was filling up the hard drive. Took about a minute to format, and I moved everything to the drive. Anecdotally, it seems like games load faster from the external drive, but I haven't actually measured it, so take it with some healthy skepticism.

I plan to use this saving music off of records. I believe it will do the job for me once I learn how to use it and the record player.

The HDD included in this EasyStore works well when added to a server or network attached storage device. The slow disk speed is expected as this drive is intended to be used for data storage.

What to say? It's a hard drive. It works. It's USB3 but didn't seem overly fast. I did a quick format and loaded 9TB on it. That took 4 days to write and verify the data (seems long? that is a lot of data). Moved it to another computer and played movies from it and it did fine, no lags or freezes.

I had been shopping round for a reliable HD for a while to add to the growing media files that I have. This WD - Easystore is top of the line. Transferred a large amount files with no issues and the lives up to the data transfer rate that is described. Moving TBs of data is easy with this drive.

Got this because of the discounted price.was too good of a deal to pass specially when the lower capacity model was more expensive.

The device worked as advertised, the transfer speeds via usb 3.0 were just as described. It was just not what I was looking for...

I've used it one time so far so I can't say anything about longevity just yet but I can say that for my use case (backing up a NAS) it worked just as expected. I like it when there's no surprise or fussing getting something to work. I'd buy another if/when I need (and the price is right)

This Best Buy exclusive comes with a Flash Drive to sweeten the deal. Along with the WD warranty, this was a good buy at $160.

I purchased the first one and worked fine for two weeks with very good transfer speeds but then it crashed and I could not read it on any computer I had. I exchange it for a new one the second one appears to be working fine. No complaints so far with the fast transfer speeds

I generally have had better experiences with WD drives than other suppliers, and so far this one has been fine. My only issues are with the software and lame "user manual"/pamphlet. Since this is a "Best Buy exclusive", it was difficult to find on the WD website to download documentation. The box lists the WD Discovery software and other utilities as included, but I had to go to the site to find them.

If you are able to score this item on a sale it is a great value. Meets all my needs for extra storage.

Title says it all . I got it on Black Friday for a sweet deal . It does what it is made for . No frills but i dont need them .

What a great combination, Western Digital and Best Buy! Added this 10TB Drive to my system and as always, WD is providing me with great service. Much like Best Buy has been providing for years! Whether I buy online or at a Best Buy location, I get a great deal and 100% satisfaction.

Most of the WD products work very well. The WD drives do what they are suppose to do, to save photo pictures regardless if they are RAW or high resolution, you name it. This drive does wonders. I even use it for editing 1080 videos!!

10 TB is a lot of space to back up your pictures, video recordings, documents, etc.

This 10 TB drive is an excellent value. Not the fastest drive you'll find but it appears to be a fine workhorse. Using it for backups of various other drives in my system and so far, so good. My only complaint is that it "sleeps" after a fairly short time (don't know yet if I can adjust that) so if I try to open an Explorer window to look at any drive's files, it takes 20 or 30 seconds for the 10 TB drive to spin up and finally open the Explorer window. A minor inconvenience so far.

Buy this if you need a big space for backup but don't if you need frequent and fast interaction.

These are the staple in my companies mass storage needs. These drives last a long time, are quiet, and trouble free. WD used to be a "ehhhhhhhh...." brand, but now they are top notch, expecially these higher capacity drives that contain enterprise grade HDD inside.

I bought this to expand my storage of my DVR. I have a smaller drive a 3Gig, and I't over half full. Works flawlessly.
