Had 2 external drives storing movies and music. Purchased this while on sale to combine everything to one spot.

Got this on a doorbuster deal. So far works good. Impressed with the space.

Great for storing photos and videos. A bit slower than expected for a 3.0 usb but it is a great purchase for 10gb.

I like the drive, but the backup software is lacking. I use it to copy / paste . It's plenty fast for this task.

The speed is pretty decent for an external spindle drive. Just a little noisy.

The price keeps going down on storage. This is a good drive for backups.

Was able to get this as a xmas special. Was $179 and had Best Buy certificates. Product works. There is a backup that can happen every hour Some things aren't getting backed up, but they are registry things. Seems to work well. Gotta back up the files

At 10TB it is a huge drive. I do wish it was a bit faster but otherwise, it works great and is a great value.

This purchase ended up being shucked and installed in the desktop case. Not sure what its performance looks like within the context of its pre-assembled use case, but as an internal, it's performed up to standard for the 3 months it's been in use.

I just needed the 10TB drive for local backups and it was the one that was available. It worked, no issues.

This great Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale item is a replacement for some outdated and inferior items that have been causing problems for a while. This will be replacing several items, allowing for better service and less energy usage. Good all a round.

The WD Easystore 10TB was truly a "Best Buy". It came at a super price and is a super product for reliability. I have been using WD Easystores for a number of years, and they have always been highly reliable. I recommend them without reservation.

Good hard drive. Runs hot at times. But the free flash drive was great

These are great drives IF you can get them on sale. The drives inside are white labeled WDC WD100EMAZ-00WJTA0 drives with 5400RPM and 256MB cache. These don't need a 3.3v pin mod if you are planning on shucking them to use in a NAS for instance.

I was looking for a backup for 80,000 plus photos on my computer. This unit was easy to set up and appears to be working well (it has only been three weeks so far, however.) This unit replaces a smaller capacity unit from the same manufacturer.

It was easy to install - basically plus and play. Runs quietly.

I got this to put in a QNAP NAS. It has a 256 cache White label inside. Yours may be different but it went in a NAS loading up with no issue. Didn't have to deal with the 3rd pin fix, likely because it was going in a NAS and not a desktop.

Like others recommended, I ran a test of the drive with the WD tools when I bought it. The first drive was faulty under that test, so I got another one. The test takes forever and a day due to the size of the drive.
