Good storage medium. Lots of space for future storage needs. But, as with all things digital, be sure to have a second copy on another medium as a backup.

It works and connected to our Asus router for cloud storage easily. Works well and was added to augment a WD 4tb drive we were getting close to capacity. Excellent brand and good longevity.

Recently the Easystore 12TB drives have been going on sale. The drives inside are white label red drives so shucking them to put into my home server makes it cheap and easy compared to buying WD red drives. The first time you put a knife into the plastic it's kinda nerve racking but once you've tested the drive to make sure there are no bad sectors you can rip them out with confidence. Now that the 12TBs are cheaper per TB than the 10TB or 8TB I'll be standardizing on 12TB drives from now on.

This holds all of my personal photos and sports videos. This is a perfect size and price.

Are reliable as they come. Especially with the sale price, I’m very pleased. I hope in the future they make a USB-C speed version.

Super easy setup and massive storage. I bought a smaller capacity unit 8 years ago and it’s still running good.

I use the WD hard drive to back up my most precious family photos. WD drives have never failed me. It is my go to brand when it comes to ext. hard drives.

Easy to set up, showed right up in my computer like it should. Only thing I don't like is how OS's display binary terabytes and drive manufacturers build, market and sell decimal terabytes. So, when all is said and done, my new 12 TB disk is really 10.9 TB.

It was the best value at the time of purchase. Has been in use for 5 months without any interruptions or failure. Satisfied.

Ordered one online arrived damaged brought it to the store for replacement. Replacement works great. I only use WD easystore harddrives for all my needs of all sizes. Highly recommend

I got this on sale and so far works like a charm. no issues, very quiet. and very happy. New 14TB came out shortly after, so boo, but got those too. Love that they can stand up or be down. Usually always used seagate, but switched for 14TB and 12TB size and it standing up, saves more space and they don't have to lay on each other since i have 4-5 of these together.

Took a little time to get it formatted for the Mac. Speed is reasonable considering the age of my Mac. Plenty of space as I got it for my photos and extensive backup

Have multiple capacities from multiple years. Some have been in use since mid 2000's. Multiple family members also have them in their storage arsenal because of this.

Bought 6 of these. Took them out of the case and put them in a Dell R710 for a NAS. Working flawless. These are really WD Reds inside. Great drives for the price.

I bought this as a backup for my NAS. It has worked out well for the initial backup and the incremental weekly backups. Still plenty of space left.
