Huge media storage. Reliable. Quiet.

Saving them on a large external drive also allows me to move it to what room I plan on watching them in. Besides the media storage, I can back up my PC and laptop as well as my iPAD. Recovering from an accidental outage is simple and painless. The built in software is a bonus.

Good for consolidating

A tad expensive, but I have a sense of relief now that I have a double backup with plenty of room to spare. It isn't portable, and has a power and USB cord, but it's sleek and matches everything around it and easily blends in.

This was the cheapest max capacity device i've found and works great for my xbox one. You may say thats a lot of games. Well youd be surprised on just how many I have. Anyway no complaints yet. Keep in mind its not 12 tb exactly upon formatting. There is reserved space on it.
