This Drive is a BEAST

I picked this up to run my Plex Media Server from my Nvidia Shield Pro. I can store a crazy amount of movies, TV shows, and music on this drive. WD always makes great products. I've never had issues with them. You can't go wrong!

12TB of space at a low price - what's not to like?

I've partitioned this drive into three 4TB chunks, and that works well for me. I've only used it for less than a month... My previous WD external drives have lasted years, and I have every reason to expect that this one will too!

Shucked for Unraid Server

Works fantastic put I did have to put electrical tape on the 3rd pin to get the PC to recognize it. This will not be a problem if you're just using the drive externally. WD is my hard drive vendor of choice.

Great space for the price!

Really good price per/tb and I have never had an issue with these. Just be prepared to wait for 24+ hrs if you want to format it before using (not a necessity, but I prefer to do it, to check/reroute any bad sectors)

Huge, fast external hard drive!

The only negative is it requires a power outlet and the plug itself is big and bulky so it doesn't fit neatly into a power strip next to a bunch of other plugs. But other than that, it's a great product.

Easy to set up and use. I have it piggybacked off of one of my cloud drives, which adds 12TB of storage for a total of 20 TB! Awesome! Great price!

Great for XBox One X

I was able to put over 120 games from Xbox Gamepass on it and still have some room. It is bulky, but what do you expect from something that stores a lot more games than what you can play at once.

Quick and has lots of space

I can back up multiple computers with this. To really be safe, you might want two to back up each other in case you move data to this drive instead of copy to this drive.
