So far I’m pretty happy with this drive. Super quiet and not overly bulky. Formatted the drive for exFAT to use with both Windows and Mac. This 12 TB drive should store my entire CD collection in lossless format. Only question so far will be longevity.

I had a little trouble at first because it didn't automatically show up on my Windows 10 system. After assigning a drive letter all was good, no additional work- plug and play. It's fast and quiet. I was thrilled with the Black Friday pricing too.

Great value for the amount of space. I have a large amount of media that I need to back up and this is perfect plus extra storage on top of that. Unit can be slightly nosy when the hard drive is spinning but not bothersome.

Although expensive overall, the value is great for holding 12 TBs of data. Looks great in black or white and Best Buy occasionally has the better price over Amazon and ships quickly.

Solid hard drive for mass storage. One caveat, it is NOT fast (5400 rpm) nor does it have a large cache. As long as you're not trying to use it for massive file editing or gaming, you should be all set.

It just sits there and backs up data. Have not had any issues. Haven't even had to do anything. Will update this review at a later date if any issues, but got it at a great price and has more storage then my hard drive for my tower.

Works just as it should. No complains other than they are still using a horrible micro usb 3 connection.

I have a NAS that I bought these drives for they were easy to shuck and they seem to be White label RED drives. I tested them first before shucking them and none of them had issues. I bought 5 of them WD has good quality with these.

Love this HD we have four. Very quiet and efficient.

Get it to backup your data and files, but don't get it for speed if you've ever used an SSD. It's not fast.

Great hard drive for the price. I'm actually using this as an internal drive as this was the cheapest option for 12tb. I used kyplon tape to cover third pin. And the adapter for something else.

Always had good look with WD hard drives. Works as advertised and got great service with BB. We did this curbside so it was even easier. I would recommend if you are looking for a ton of storage in one spot.

what an amazing price for such enormous capacity! works smoothly with my mac. I was one of the lucky ones that got this for $120.00 which is a steal of the century. even if this was $200 that would still be a steal.
