This external drive is easy to setup right out of the box. I use it to store extra data that I do not want on internal drives that I can take to other computers.

Purchased for backup storage. Sale price was lower than any other on-line retailer. Lots of storage space in a single USB3 device. Speed is good , not the fastest, but good.

Easy to setup. Out the box and saving to it less than 5 minutes. Speed is good (averaging about 100MB/s) with very few speed dips when saving over 100GB of files.

I’ve had this hard drive for about a month now, so far so good! I will say, it seems to be tricky to set up in conjunction with the time machine on my 2019 MacBook Pro, but overall it does the job and the price is unbeatable for the amount of storage you get.

Very good HD for storing photos and videos with a huge amount if storage. The transfer speed is a little slower than expected, especially for a USB 3.0 drive. However, drive is stable and haven't had any issues or errors since I stared using it.

So glad i was able to get this, i had been in need of more space and this filled that gap. I have 3 of these already and will keep buying them when they go on sale

Bought the 12TB, and I see a 14TB is available. When there is a sale on those, they are great backup drives, easy to encrypt, work on Linux/Mac/Win (with exFat formatting).

These are solid and long lasting backup storage. I think this one has been discontinued, but they are great little backup drives for the money!

Easily shucked and added to my NAS as a normal SATA hard drive; good performance.

i own lots of these drives...they work great! the price is awesome for such a high capacity drive. i will continue to purchase these drives for sure!!

I transferred all my files from my old external device to this device and the process was quick. This device can handle my thousands of raw files pictures.

HDD works great. WD Red (White Label) inside. Highly recommended for those demanding space. Highly recommend. I plan to buy more when the price goes to 179 or less

great value. lots of space. I use these in JOBD. Got a few. No failures so far. Fingers crossed. They definitely vary in speed though. One is quite fast lol.

great product the price was dead on it was even cheaper at best Buy than Micro Center and I had it delivered so I did not have to leave my home

There's no much to say about this drive, it works as expected plug and play. Plenty of storage, the software to manage the drive is very minimal and simple.

Easy to use. Always buy this brand for my external storage, and I’ve never had an issue. We use to archive all of our family photos and videos.

Great size! Holding everything I needed and plenty of room for more. It’ll satisfy my needs for many more years! Was on sale for a great price!

Great value for amount paid at the time. This was before the pandemic when the price of electronics was cheaper.
