    I shucked the hard drive from the enclosure so my review wont be that meaningful, but the drive has been running 24/7 in a nas since I bought it and I have had zero issues with it. These are only worth it if you can get them at a cheaper price than MSRP. I have multiple sizes of this ranging from 8TB all the way to 12TB and all work just fine.

    I would love to give this a 5 star rating, but the backup software included doesn't work. When it tries to install, it scans your computer for the drive, but never finds it, even though Windows sees it just fine (obviously since I was able to access the software folders on it). I wiped the drive. Went out to Western Digital and got the latest software. Same problem. I Googled the problem I was having, and others reported the same issue with other WD products, but never did find a solution. I ended up finding another backup software for free. Everything is working fine now.
