Reliable and quiet

So I knew I wanted to repurchase because WD is such a reputable brand. Before WD, I had another brand that would constantly and randomly disconnect…not a good thing for nightly automated backups of my workstation. I never had this issue with WD. It’s quiet and speedy and serves my purposes perfectly. The footprint is small and you won’t be disappointed with your purchase. The value is great, as I won’t have to delete backups for months.

Good drive for backing up a lot of data

Plugged it in and it was recognized by the NAS right out of the box. Speed seems to be right on par with what I would expect for USB 3 7200RPM drive.

Great for What It Does

Good Drive

They ae easy plug and play and just work. Never had a problem with any of these drives. As expected just plugged in the computer and have been doing software and data backups ever since. Copied down 25,000 files one day with no issues.

14TB!

So far so good. The drive works as you would expect. It runs quiet and read and writes are quick. Once the drive is formatted it drops to 12.9TB, but that was to be expected.

Highly recommend if you are running low on hard drive space.
