Big and reasonably fast

It has more usable capacity and transfer speed than the 8/10tb ones, which were quite slow. That being said, all of the WD drives offers higher sustained speed than the cheaper Seagate ones.

Awesome Storage Capacity

Surprisingly fast for a physical drive. Definitely would recommend. Haven't filled up 2TB yet and I've been trying!

A Reliable Product

As a film collector, this easystore 14TB fits my needs to a t. I'm sure it will be just as reliable as my previous hard drives from WD have been.

It does the job, but could be better

It's a basic, plug-n-play hard drive. Not sure what all the extra space is for. No USB-C adapter or port. Makes a little noise when active. Not loud, but audible if you're in a quiet room.

Works great with my Mac Pro 5,1

I was hoping to reduce some power consumption, but my smart plug is reporting around the same power usage. Major bummer! But it is nice to only have files scattered across 2 drives instead of 8, it makes organizing much easier! I just hope it never fails, that would be a major disaster! Speed is good, not lightning fast but good enough. I use these with my 2010 MacPro 5,1, so I know that's my cause for the r/w slowdown. But the computer is solid and it still works great for over a decade of use. Not many other computers can say or do that!
