Expansive storage

I was able to consolidate most of my older drives into this compact unit. It is silent and fast. Highly recommended.

Back up your network storage for a few years.

The old 5 TB external wasn't going to cut it. This 14 TB USB-C 3.0 become the new backup for the NAS. Totally plug and play with my NetGear RN102.I'll forget it there in a day or two.

Very concerning noise, works ok

It does take a few seconds to wake up when idle which seems to freeze my web browser, but otherwise seems to work ok. Still concerned about the noise though.

When we have discovered a problem with our data/images, the backup already has a copy of the problem making it useless. I will main backups here to be more effective.

Massive storage, itty bitty price

While it comes with its own backup software, I'm using Free File Sync for on-demand backups of internal drives. 130 MB/sec was my transfer speed tonight, which I'm happy with.
