Very easy to use and good for entire network backup.

Hard drive worked well for archiving important information being transferred into digital format. No problems to be reported though start-up vibration is somewhat pronounced.

Exceptional quality external drives right here and when they go on sale, the price per GB is on par with the best you'll find anywhere else. WD is the top of the line for PCs and it's no different with their Easy Store external line

Great value. The 14 terrabytes of storage is exactly what I needed to store high resolution photographs.

If you worry about ransom ware, but doubt “pie in the cloud if you get hacked,” this is a great adder to an Apple Airport.

First it’s more like 13TB and second it’s the loudest drive I’ve ever owned. It’s so loud that it’s distracting. I have two external Seagate drives that are quiet as can be. Not super impressed with this. That being said, it works for my purposes and I got it on sale.

Fast drive, connected it to the USB port on my router and we can access it from our local network devices. Never used remote access with our old one, so didn't want or need one that does that.

I’m using this as backup drive for my Windows based computer. It works pretty well for this purpose with tons of space. If I had one complaint it is it can be noisier than previous WD external drives I have bought. It makes a light “thunk” sound periodically. Otherwise it has been running fine for the past couple months.

Works well right out of the box on my PC without the need to format. The drive is fairly quiet and isn't loud when reading or writing files. I got it on sale during the holiday sales but I wouldn't buy at regular price.

This is my second WD external HD I save lots of photos from my travels. It is simple to use just plug it in and use it just like your normal in computer drive.

The 14TB drive arrived early and fully functional. I did a complete scan, took about 32 hours, and the drive surface was good. I'm using the drive on Windows 10 Home. There is a single drive in the case, which I prefer.

USB 3.0 it's great and perfect for backing up my IMac. I have a 16TB version and they are fast and responsive. A must have for any disaster recovery.

What can you say about a hard drive other than it works the way it was intended. It’s stores files and it’s fast to copy those files on and off the drive. Don’t pay full price for these just wait for them to go on sale.

Seems to be working, but I did hear clicking and it comes back every now and then. It’s distracting. Drive is noisier than other WDs I have too. WD gave me an unhelpful link when I asked about the clicking. I’m still trying it out while in the return window.
