It only has 12.7tb of space available even after a few complete formats. Wasn't a huge deal. Transfer speed is fast. It's also very quiet and lights are not super bright.

It doesn’t feel like the most durable drive. Would only consider this a “backup of backups” drive as it doesn’t feel like it would survive that long. Slower data transfer speeds than newer external HDs like GDrive/Lacie. Super slow compared to external SSDs.

Great for synology

Shucking was easy and its a white lable. This is the second one ive put into my nas and if available later i may add a 3rd.

Best used in applications with high reads and low numbers of writes, like backup or a NAS. I have two of these. The other one direct from WD, although it's a WD Elements, but they're effectively the same as the EasyStore models sold exclusively at BestBuy. Still SMR-free, at least for now.

Speed is fast and so far runs quietly. A bit bulky but manageable. Format to FAT32 slow when quick format not selected. Overall, very pleased with the purchase!

I'm using them to backup my network. They have all worked perfectly out of the box and actually provide better speed through USB3 than my older sata connected drives.

Best Buy had it for a good price so I went to Best Buy to get it. Only thing is the shiny plastic are prone to scratches.

Bought on sale for a great price.

It takes about 30 hours to do it with a drive this size, but it's so worth it as the first one I got was bad.
