It has helium drive inside which run way cooler than normal drive I have from last couple of years. Speed is ok and runs very silent compare of my older WD drives.

The price I paid was great for this harddrive. So far no issue. This one can be taken apart and be converted to an internal but it will void your warranty if you decide to do that.

Great for backing up General data or Streaming videos.. I have multiple units hooked up to my Qnas NAS works flawless.. Only complaint is that Data transmission can be slow if the drive is setting idle for a whole

A very standard and reliable external drive. The external casing is nicer than MyBooks or Element versions. Easystores are the retailer specific model.

Terrific hard drive. I have the same model in a smaller capacity. It has serviced me well for three years. I stick to this brand for that reason.

Need to upgrade the HDD in my HAS. It was on sale before Christmas with a great price. Shucked the case and extract the HDD. It is a white labeled version but worked without any problem. Running temp in Raid 5 is 45-48 degree C. About 10 degree C higher than the 8TB. A bit hot but probably due to its capacity and running continuously. Hopefully it will be long lasting as other WD drives (Unlike Seagate, all of my previous WD drivers from 2TB to 8TB are still working).

A great option for large amounts of desktop storage. Simple to set up for backups and use to get some of that clutter off your computer and get it running faster!

This has been a product that I have been targeting for a very long time. My images upload onto it very quickly. I plan to buy another for my backup.

Pretty fast drive despite being only 5400 RPM. The 3.5" HDD is removable from the outer casing (shuckable), and can be put in a computer. Also can be used in a NAS or home server.

WD140EDFZ Iv Purchased at $189 and $230 No long term tests. Product number changed from the older version 14tb. The case looks different but the internals are very much the same. Sometimes this one is slower at transferring large quantities of data than my 10TB Drive.
