Had TWO of these drives fail on me now

Was purchased, placed on my desk, and never touched outside of occasionally being used to backup files. Tried ever fix I've heard of, no dice. Now had TWO of these WD drives do the same thing. Happened about 30 days after I bought, Best Buy told me it was my problem because the return policy is 15 days. WD clearly has inconsistencies in hard drives this size. I would steer clear and find another option.

Lots of storage at a decent price

I was pleased to discover that it has a rotation speed of 7200 RPM. I didn’t use the included WD software so cannot comment on it. I haven’t owned the drive long enough to gauge its reliability.

Drive failed less then 2 years

Drive no longer found using Western Digital tools (Dashboard and Data Lifeguard Diagnostics). Tried drive on multiple computers and it's not found. I hear warranty takes months to replace, hoping for a quick warranty.
