Excellent device and pretty compact! 14TB and look at the size! Also it's WD so the speed of writing and reading is quite good

WD easystore/elements have treated me well with 10 drives varying from 8tb-14tb. I've used them all to shucc successfully. This particular 14tb drive has been performing good for me and did not require the sata pin modification. The hard drive inflation is the only negative unfortunately as this drive would normally be $100 cheaper on a regular, deep sale. I did use the 15% coupon for WD recycle and save so that did help offset the price increase a bit.

Like many, these are bought to shuck which in this case was a WD white. Hoping for a red. At this point you are getting a quality WD drive you can either use as purchased or shucked for the drive. The sale price was great so overall a 5 star with a little tarnish for white vs. red.

A Very Nice Portable Drive. I have 3 Easystore Portable Drives, 2TB, 5TB and this 14TB drive. I find they work great for my purposes. I'm not a knowledgeable computer person when it comes to 'drive speeds', etc., but I know these Easystore drives are easy to use and are fast enough for my Audiobooks, Photographs, Movies and PC back-up needs. For me, the Price was right as well. I would recommend these drives for all computer users.

It is an excellent external hard drive, massive capacity and is very quick. Very affordable for the data capacity.

Western Digital is the only hard drive worth purchasing, have used many drives over the years and have yet to have an issue with any of the 12 WD hard drives we own. Our oldest WD drive was purchased in 2007 still going strong

I needed a larger hard drive for my video server, I chose the Western Digital 14TB drive for its capacity & great price.

Great drive, use them in a raid array and for backups. Drives are a good price per meg when on sale

I use this as a local backup attached to my NAS (which also backs up to the cloud). Works great, no complaints in the two years I've had it so far. But it on sale, though. Never pay full price for hard drives.

Easy to install, software included, huge space for the price. I almost missed this deal. So glad I didn't. I have used Western Digital since the good ole HDD days. They've served me well and that's why I'm sticking with this brand.

Item is good to store videos and pictures. Easy to use and transfer.

Using this with a brand new mac studio and it has been very nice to keep my internal ssd free for the more important apps and other data that i want to be able to access very quickly. Being an external hard drive, it greatly affects the speed which data can be accessed, but it has served its purpose for me. The only complaint is the noise. When writing to the disc, it gets quite noisy, but this is not a deal breaker for me.

after reading so so reviews,i tested speeds and use it with my xbox x.i was concerned over the 5500 rpm vs 7500 that it would be slow,its white label with 5500 rpm.transfer speed rates 515-600 mps in copying.plays games off hard drive for xbox one x scorpio 4k...very quiet i cant hear it run,and reviews of getting hot are false-it transferred nonstop for a day(9 t worth of files) and was just normal warm...got ir for 199.00

Gets hot and a bit loud sometimes, but works great with no real complaints for a ton of storage.

A little bit noisy but Reliable Hard Drive and since I use it only to back up my data I turn it on only when I need it so the noise does not bother me much.

Great hard drive for the price. 14tb holds plenty of files (note that you will never be able to utilize the full 14tb).
