I've taken all any data and files from an 8TB drive onto this and have about 5.5TB of space remaining. The only gripe is that when it is formatted NTFS you cannot write (or view most files) to it when it is plugged into a Mac. Learned that the hard way when I bought a MacBook Air but I do have a workaround.

So here's to hoping the next one I get is a 16tb or 18tb for a good price in a year or 2. My oldest drive that is an 8tb drive is still hooked up to my PC everyday and I have not had an issue with it still so I know its quality.

Great capacity - be aware of missing screw mounts

Helium filled and runs cooler than other drives. One issue with this drive is that due to the number of platters, the drive doesn't have mounting screw positions in the middle (bottom and side) unlike smaller capacity drives. Since some drive cages in cases use top and middle screw holes, you might have to get creative with mounting - I had to use top screws and zipties to secure drives inside the cage.
