I needed a back up storage option. I had used WD in the past. I shopped around and found what I considered to be the best bang for the buck. Easy to use straight out of the box. I definitely recommend the WD - Easystore 14TB. Patrick

This hard drive has a gang of storage for all the files I need to save on my PC. Music, movies, games, documents all are safely stored and plenty of space for more!

Great product and the hard drives in this particular model is fantastic and long lasting (when taken care of and handled properly). WD makes great drives and has a long history in this area.

Plug and play works great. Can use right out of the box. Formatting works ok as well. No issues with transfer speeds. I got bump-ons to help stop the unit from sliding. This my 5th one (different capacities)!

Lots of space but very, and I mean VERY noisy. So far it has passed all the checks, but that noise makes me feel like it is going to suddenly fail. No issues so far, I’m keeping my fingers crossed. At $199 for Black Friday was hard to resist.

Easy to setup and use with a Windows 10 pc. Just connect it and Windows recognizes the drive and its ready to use. I am using it with Acronis backup and its been working without problem. If you use it with USB 3.0 then the speed is great.

Good options for decent price. Need to check how it works for Mac

This is a great hard drive. I'm using it to store my 4K library. I'll be needing another one soon as I'm down to 3TB. It's attached to my Plex server and responds well. It's not as fast as an SSD, but for a drive this size it is not slow.

Easy to use, seems to be exactly what I needed. I can do regular backups of my laptop to make sure my information is secure. Also can store my family photos on here .

These are excellent when they go on deep sales for shucking and building into large storage arrays. We all wish the unrecyclable black plastic case was easier to open to get to the chewy goodness of the SATA hard drive inside.

These are the best drives for shucking for NAS use. I've been using these for about 3 years now. No failures and they're connected 24/7. I however only buy these when they're on sale.

I bought two of these and took out the hard disk for a NAS. They work perfectly without any tricks or modifications. The price if very good for such huge volume.

Integrated easily, as I upgraded from the WD easystore 10TB. Solid speeds, negotiates the USB connection just fine with Linux, and nice sleek look. You can't go wrong with the value of this 14TB drive.

Delayed review. I bought this some time ago. Looking back, should've bought more. I've had the drive on 24/7 since I bought this in my Ultra EX2 to back up all my photos and videos and not a single issue yet.

We have owned several of these external hard drives, and they are pretty good over time. Our older model, 2 years old, now has a rattling part somewhere inside so we went ahead and bought a new one, planning for the old one to fail soon. The WD brand lasts about as long as you can expect from an external drive that you move around a lot.

Got on sale for a great price for the size. Will easily hold my music and movies

I use this to store backups for both windows and Mac and it works flawlessly! Plenty of space for years to come!
