Good Unit for My Mac

The unit was easy to set up and worked well in my mixed Mac / PC environment. Unit is quiet and trouble free. It has been knocked around a couple times accidentally and has been unaffected. Good purchase when on sale. I will be buying additional units.

LOTS AND LOTS OF STORAGE

I bought 2 and gonna get me another just because. You can never have too much storage. I've got WD harddrives that are at least 10 years old.

Need to have for those with lots of game recording. Looking to buy another. Upload speed is around 200MB/s which is stellar for a hdd. Save some money and wait for a sale.

I was using different backup drives and had to try to remember where my files and photos were saved. Now I have them all on one drive.

Great long term storage drive

If you have a newer PSU there is no need to play around with kapton tape. If you have a 5 wire SATA cable, you’re pretty much good to go.

Huge drive at a great price

Barracuda drives are reliable and when disconnecting correctly they shouldn't fail.
