I edit and store thousands of videos so this baby is going to work really well for the amount of storage I need.

Need this drive for my backup. Contemplating on shucking and use for my NAS. ATM, I have 4 x 4tb on my NAS. Undecided if i want to upgrade to 14TB x 4 drives. Will wait for the price to get more affordable.

I have had very good luck with all the 14TB drives I've purchased from Best Buy. I think I only had one failure in about 70 drives.

Supposedly you can shuck this but I haven't even bothered. Just sitting next to my HTPC and chugging away. It's about 80% full now and still going strong.

I'm loving having this much space to store videos. No problems thus far and I've been able to access it from my laptop as long as my PC is turned on.

Hard to beat the TB/$ ratio for this purchase, only nitpick I would have is WD should include an adapter or at least sell one next to drives in store for their Shucksters.

Huge hard drive, great price. Speed is pretty good, on par with the external WD 2TB drive I was using. The only downside is that only 12.7 TB are usable out of the 14 advertised.

I bought this on Black Friday sale for $189.99. Then I went home, shucked it and put it in my newly assembled pc. If you are gonna do the same, make sure you have an IDE Molex to SATA Power Cable ready.

Works good. I use it to backup files from my Linux desktop. Just plug it in and start copying the files. Copy the file to the external 14 TB hard drive. It will take a long time to fill it up though.

Removed the drive from the enclosure to use inside of a PC, and the drive has worked perfectly. Good read/write speeds, low noise, and no sectors lost after 18 months of 24/7 use. The USB enclosure also worked very well as a plug-and-play drive, and even worked when I moved a different drive into the enclosure. If you plan to remove the drive from the enclosure, always check the health/capacity of the drive before removing it, as removing it from the enclosure voids the warranty. There have also been several cases of people swapping out cheap/broken drives into the enclosures before returning the product.

This was a great deal at $189 wait for the sales. As for the hard drive I have had no issues and would recomend this to anyone. WD is a reputable company with outstanding products.

A bit slow at times but for the price you get a decent amount of storage. While you can play games off an external drive like this you should probably limit it to older titles.

14 Tb. What more can you say? This holds more data that all my computer hds that I had owned prior to buying this.

Drive works great can't go wrong with an WD product and a ton or storage with the blazing transfer speeds to match

This is actually the second 14TB easystore drive I've purchased, this time for my wife's computer. I've had a number of hard drive failures over the years, mostly with Seagate Drives. No hard drive is 100% reliable, but i've bought a number of WD hard drives as well as SanDisk SSDs, and only one has failed, and after years of use. These high-capacity drives aren't the fasted available, but they're reliable and perfect for storing large volumes of data, such as digital media, or for backing up your data. I use this drive as a Time Machine backup for an extensive collection of photos, music and videos I have stored on NAS, and it works perfectly and seamlessly in the background

Just amazing not having to worry about space anymore .I have my entire digital photo collection on there and it makes me feel so relieved to know I have ample space left to add even more .Thank you WD .

Nice price with so huge storage. It can store lots of my favorite things. Although some mistakes happened when I picked it up, but the agent help me solve it successfully.
