    This drive has an enormous capacity and is amazingly fast. Reads are over 200 MB per second. Writes are super fast too. Great drive to backup documents, pictures and videos.

    I always use WD drives, they seem to be the most dependable "Disk" drives. I use to only but Seagate drives until they were bought out and their quality is at the bottom of the list. Seagate drives have internal part failures and will scratch the internal disks...MAKING THEM TOTALLY UNRECOVERABLE. I lost over a thousand songs relying on Seagate.

    Always have had great luck with WD Drives. Buy a new one every few years and transfer all the stuff I don't want to lose. Pix, videos, etc.

    have a 10tb it is easy to use just a little slow to load and unload. freezes up when moving bigger files

    Needed a large external drive. Looking for non SMR drives and this fit the bill. Large amount of storage and FAST. Used the WD tool to test the integrity of the drive and it passed completely. Used to buy Seagate externals until they changed to Shingled drives which were slow and prone to failure. I own 8/10/12 and 14 TB versions of these drives and have been nothing but pleased in their endurance and reliability.
