Great drive that is shuckable.

A good drive for everyday use.

It has perfectly fast enough read and write speeds for my purposes even if it could be a bottle neck for saving media after downloading. If I were to lose the files on this drive for any reason, it would not be the end of the world. I can't speak to the drives long term reliability, but I would have a backup if I were storing important data. All that said, I would certainly recommend this drive.

Mac user, just beware when you use it.

I recommend WD drives

I use to only but Seagate drives until they were bought out and their quality is at the bottom of the list. Seagate drives have internal part failures and will scratch the internal disks...MAKING THEM TOTALLY UNRECOVERABLE. I lost over a thousand songs relying on Seagate.

Best Model for A Storage Server

This is the most price/value ratio model of WD: $13.5 per TB. I saw video claiming 14TB is the largest recommended model as larger model will take much longer to copy/format
