    Great value in terms of dollars to terabyte storage. Solid warranty support from Western Digital if needed. Only con is that it is fairly slow, but that is a relative to your primary usage of this storage.

    It's compact, alot of storage and has everything inside for use. The transfer speeds varies on my PC.

    Bought this a month and a half ago and it's working great. It takes about 20-30 seconds to 'warm up' when first accessed if it hasn't been accessed for awhile, but it's speedy after that. I've owned both Western Digital and Seagate external drives from the smaller 250 GB/2-5 TB portable units to 8TB and now this 14 TB desktop drive. WD has never let me down. I still have portable WD drives that are over 15 years old and they continue to work just fine.
