So much storage for such a good price

I got this for media backup storage and the price is hard to beat for the storage size. Transfer speeds are impressive for a non-SSD drive as well. I just hope it lasts as I have had some bad experiences with older WD drives having short lifespans but I've read good things about this one.

Mechanical Hard Drive

I own 5 and are still going strong no errors when reading or writing to the drive or copying files or photos.

WD 14TB External Hard Drive Review

USB3 transfer speeds were excellent. Was able to backup files and folders without any issues. Windows File explorer will report drive as being 12.7 TB, but that is to be expected. So far no problems yet with this drive. Only issue was purchased week before it went on sale from $249.99 to $199.99. Had to call 1-800 customer service number to get price adjustment.
