Queen of external hard drives!

This WD 14TB definitely delivers on that, but it is also so much more. It has a huge capacity, but a small footprint; is so fast, but so quiet. I can't be happier with the purchase.

Solid Performer When Priced Well

Does it work, and how speedy is it? No, you're not setting speed records but when you're storing 14TB on an external drive, you don't need to. I max out at about 150-160MB/sec which is great for the USB interface, and it serves its purpose as a backup/archival drive. Worth it when you can get it under about $16-$17 per terabyte.

Great Extra Storage

I have four other WD drives that are similar but of varying ages (2-10 years) and storage capacity (4-10 TB) and had no problems to date with them. Cannot comment on the current product's longevity but the amount of storage cannot be beat and works as expected.
