Do external drives have a sleep mode... Because I'll try to click to open them up and it takes like 15 seconds sometimes 30 seconds sometimes 1 second to open the drive up... I never understood this otherwise it works like it should... It actually should not be called a 14 TB drive but should be called 12.7 drive. And wow did Best Buy give me a deal on this ...

Bought it to shuck

Speed is good, well for a 5400 rpm drive it's good usually 200MBs. It was a great deal compared to prices a few weeks later. So I bought another one, from a different vendor since it was 140 dollars cheaper than BB. Too bad I couldn't price match, the other drive is a mybook, it has the same drive. Raid 0 here I come...
