14tb easy store external storage review

Went to return 12 and returned 14tb by mistake. Its a shame can't be paired to playstation and Xbox just switching back and forth was my only thing I found wrong with it.

Use Ease US Partition master trial edition instead

I used WD Drive Utilities and failed complete drive test (6 times). I have to turn off the other external drivers (unplug) and run Ease US Partition master trial edition (in 24 hours) and NO BAD SECTORS. So, if your computer can not handle WD Drive Utilities, use Ease US Partition master trial edition

Out of the 11 I’ve bought I only had issue with one being DOA. I usually wait for the sales around the holidays and snag em for a good discount.

Pretty fast, but buggy with Linux.

Ubuntu recognized the drive just fine at first, but not again after I ejected the drive and plugged it back in. I had to restart the computer to recognize the drive again. The solution seemed to be: Do not eject the drive. Just unmount it. Other than that, it's fine. The speed is quite fast for a HDD, on the order of 200 MB/s.
