High capacity storage that's reasonably priced. These drives work well and last a long time.

I decided to embark upon saving all family-related photos from last numerous years and found this 16TB (not a typo ) hard drive at Best Buy. Wow, love it. Just completed my project and combining all of my previous hard-drive photos into one drive is best idea I've had in a while. Now, I'm going to purchase a second one to back up this one. Easy to use with drag & drop.

Shucked it and put it inside my HTPC. I have way too many 4k rips and I was running out of room on my old 10GB hard drive - this fits the bill nicely. Bought a second one and using it as it was originally intended as an external backup, also without issues. Best bang for the buck when it's on sale.

Ton of storage in a small box. Sleek, very quiet, goes in stand-by mode when not in use for 15 minutes even connected 24/7. Note - disc is preformatted in NTFS GPT - not compatible with Mac nor older operating systems. For maximum compatibility WD Quick Format allows to repartition to MBR ExFat or NTFS as a single drive (bypasses MBR’s limit of 2TB).

Excellent external storage device. I went with this model over the elements because the new version of the elements requires manually turning it back on with every restart. This drive will stay on.

This is a pretty good 16 TB external hard drive from Western Digital. I bought a 14 TB version from Best Buy in late 2020, but recently I replaced it with this larger 16 TB version for refreshed storage and extended warranty for next couple years. It has massive space to back up personal photos, videos, Windows system files, etc for multiple devices.

I take a lot of photos and this WD - 16TB External Hard Drive gives me plenty of storage room for the thousands of photos I take every year. It is easy to use and can be left on my desk attached to my computer via USB cord or stored in a drawer and only hooked up when needed.

Much needed external hard drive. As I have so many picture, videos and files of clients this was a great buy. This free up my PC storage and it was basically a plug and play. Might consider another one for my siblings. Would help them alot. No problem so far. Recommend to anyone get whe. They put it on sales...

Lots of storage! I do sports photography as a side hobby and regularly use WD's external hard drives as a backup every year to make sure I don't lose anything. These are reliable large storage and are reasonably affordable if you keep an eye out for the sales every now and then.

So far it is working great as a USB drive. Transfer and write speeds have not disappointed. It can be slightly noisy, but I don't mind it too much. I will probably end up shucking it and throwing the drive in my PC, which will hopefully muffle it's sound some.

Works great, nothing much to say but the drive does what it does.. hold a lot of data while be reasonably priced. It's built pretty decent, nothing like a Fantom drive quality but that's expected for the price.

I love the deals bestbuy has on these WD drives! It’s cheaper to buy and shuck the drives for my NAS. Bought six 16tb drives and they have all been working great in my synology DS 1520+

I purchased this when it went on sale. At the sale price for the size of the drive, it could not be beat. I have had zero issues with it so far. Pick this up when it goes on sale to store everything you own *keep backups though*.

Great 16tb drive, you can shuck it or leave it in its enclosure but either way its 16tb of extra storage and cheaper than internal drives of the same size

These large capacity hard drives go on sale frequently. They are a great value when on sale. Good for Xbox storage too, but some games are too advanced for it.
