External hard drives
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much needed external hard drive. As I have so many picture, videos and files of clients this was a great buy. This free up my PC storage and it was basically a plug and play. Might consider another one for my siblings. Would help them alot. No problem so far. Recommend to anyone get whe. They put it on sales...

Solved my storage problem with WD 16TB External HD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I take a lot of photos and this WD - 16TB External Hard Drive gives me plenty of storage room for the thousands of photos I take every year. It is easy to use and can be left on my desk attached to my computer via USB cord or stored in a drawer and only hooked up when needed.

Pretty good 16 TB external hard drive from WD!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pretty good 16 TB external hard drive from Western Digital. I bought a 14 TB version from Best Buy in late 2020, but recently I replaced it with this larger 16 TB version for refreshed storage and extended warranty for next couple years. It has massive space to back up personal photos, videos, Windows system files, etc for multiple devices.

Cheap big storage!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lots of storage! I do sports photography as a side hobby and regularly use WD's external hard drives as a backup every year to make sure I don't lose anything. These are reliable large storage and are reasonably affordable if you keep an eye out for the sales every now and then.

Huge boi
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it is working great as a USB drive. Transfer and write speeds have not disappointed. It can be slightly noisy, but I don't mind it too much. I will probably end up shucking it and throwing the drive in my PC, which will hopefully muffle it's sound some.

Excellent drive
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent external storage device. I went with this model over the elements because the new version of the elements requires manually turning it back on with every restart. This drive will stay on.

Easy Store and Easy on Wallet
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great, nothing much to say but the drive does what it does.. hold a lot of data while be reasonably priced. It's built pretty decent, nothing like a Fantom drive quality but that's expected for the price.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this when it went on sale. At the sale price for the size of the drive, it could not be beat. I have had zero issues with it so far. Pick this up when it goes on sale to store everything you own *keep backups though*.

Quiet and fast drive
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was somewhat concerned with various negative reviews about noise and slow transfer speed. But I went ahead with the purchase because I have had good experience with WD drives before. Well, I'm extremely happy with this drive. It's quiet and fast (much better than my 8TB Seagate drive). It is true that it goes to sleep after a while. You have to wait for it to wake up. If that bothers you, you may not want to buy it. I find it tolerable. I also want to acknowledge the great curbside pickup at Best Buy.

Good deal and Good Product, Avoid Roadie Delivery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The drive itself is exactly as advertised, and since I am a reviewing it alone I am giving the product 5 stars. This is a very economical way to get a large amount of memory and is designed to have a very low space footprint in your space. However, Roadie was an incredible pain, state my item had been delivered when it hadn't been, and then it showed up on my porch more than 24 hours after the first delivery was said to be completed. I would avoid using them and go with other, more standard and insured shipping options.

Great value and usual WD quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace a 6 TB Seagate drive that kept disconnecting from my network. I should have trusted that WD would be a superior product. I am so happy with this purchase, especially on sale. The capacity is huge, so this drive can hold several months’ worth of backups. It’s quick and I don’t find it loud (although I’m not picky about that kind of thing since my backups run at night). I didn’t use or load the included WD software because it doesn’t serve my purposes. For the $/TB and quality, you can’t beat this product!

High capacity

Terrific Value and Lots of Storage
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrific value for the capacity. Dependable name brand. Even shuckable if so inclined. Word of warning if you do decide to shuck this drive - no idea what will happen with the warranty and keep in mind that this is a plastic case with breakable tabs (don't expect to get into the unit without damaging the tabs). A little over a month of use and no issues. Works as designed and plenty of capacity for my needs.

Nice hard drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These large capacity hard drives go on sale frequently. They are a great value when on sale. Good for Xbox storage too, but some games are too advanced for it.

Cheap bulk storage, but louder than before
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 6th WD Easystore and 1st in this size. Pro: good value on sale & perfect for backing up. Con: makes a (surprisingly loud) noise periodically, but that's apparently some kind of internal maintenance.

Noisie...
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.for the 1st year it seemed really good, now 1 year & 1 month in its starting to clatter, & I still have almost 6 TB of space left. Not sure that was a good $300 expenditure...

Oodles of storage
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This disk drive has oodles of storage space and allowed me to consolidate a nearly full 8TB drive with a nearly full 4TB drive with room to spare. This makes my file organization better because now I don't have to look in two different places for stuff. I've been using WD drives for at least the past 8 years now and haven't had any problems.

Great but LOUD
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The speed is great, as is the capacity--especially when you factor in the price of $223 I paid plus lots of points toward certificates. BUT...like others stated in their reviews: there is a clicking/clunking sound frequently coming from inside the case that gets annoying if you leave this plugged in continuously and keep the unit close by.
