As fast as a mechanical HDD is expected to perform via USB 3.0 and very reliable. Used to store loads of contents (Steam games and such) and never any issues/errors.

I then use the SATA to USB connector to upgrade my old hard drives to put in my desktop. Too bad Best Buy took away the recycling of old hard drives to use on easystore hard drives.

Not only paperwork, pictures, pricing, etc. This one in particular however, has me a little scared. Sometimes it takes longer than usual for the drive to respond, to the point that my finder wants to quit it. I’m just hoping this one won’t die or go bad on me!

I also like that it doesn't get very warm with a lot of use. I love that they are putting these out in sizes that will hold a lot of data

QUICK STORAGE FOR ALL MY FILES

I have two of these, a 14 TB and this 18TB units to keep all of my important files readily available.

WD EASYSTORE DRIVE

The Drive is smooth and efficient. It is a very good drive that is easy to use!

I use it for Time Machine backups and media storage. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is the USB 3.0 interface. There are newer and faster interfaces that make copying to and from the drive faster.
