A Above Avg Quality 18TB External Hard Drive

Detected within 3 seconds after pluged in power. Usable storage 16.8TB (Why hard drives always lost a portion of storage？) Data trasfer speed is similar to a SATA internal hard drive. Putting in 200GB take almost an hour. Don't expect to run games from it. But the 18TB that is more than I need to store everything from videos to photos from cell phones for backup. Highly recommended.

Failed shortly after adding to my NAS

I added this drive to my NAS and prepped it for data. Started getting errors ~ 5 hours after the prep completed. I pulled the drive & brought it back to the Store for an Exchange. 1 month later & everything is good now. My drives are a 50/50 split between Western Digital & Seagate.

Grateful that BestBuy had this big boy in stock when I needed it most! Yet, considering the size of HD video and photos, where are the 50, 70, 100TB drives?
