This external hard drive is absolutely fantastic...works like a charm. Easy to use...small enough to store easily...has a lot of space to free up your main computer. Highly recommend to all.

It is easy to set up and it works great. Had lots of stuff to backup and still have lots of capacity left on the drive. It's small and unobtrusive on my glass desk. Really like it.

My brother needed more storage space for games he wanted to try out on his pc. This was really easy to use and now he has no storage issue.

Western Digital Hard Drives and devices have been my go to data storage solution for years. I use them yearly as a backup solution for my digital pictures, and other files backup up on an individual year basis. They are compact, have a large capacity, are easy to use, and do not require a college degree to setup and get started with out of the box, I have had no problems, or failures with any of the external WD hard drives I have in use for digital picture and file storage. Plus the WD price is generally reasonable, and I try to shop for drives when they are on sale locally.

I bought this when it was the deal of the day. I wanted a USB drive and this was the right size at the right price. I have several WD NAS drives and have been very happy with them and never had an issue with software from WD. With this WD easystore, the supplied WD backup software was a REAL pain to install. It requires WD Discovery software, which I have of course as part of my NAS setup but this stuff installed a second Discovery software setup. That resulted in a constant error message to be displayed. Took long time to figure out what was causing that. WD Backup is just OK when it works. Doesn't wake system from sleep which I wished it would. I DO like that it doesn't shrink the files or store them in one big file. That way I can find them easily on the drive with a file manager. Other than the software, the drive works great to store my files.

This has been excellent for keeping all of my memories safe and making some space on my computer! It's small and I haven't had any problems with it!

Purchased this product in the past. Easy to use, fast, and great for storing considerable amount of photos. Based on ease-of-use and storage capacity, purchased this one for my wife.

It’s good for the buck. It is fast easy access response and very reliable. Good security protection and easy to set up, can’t go wrong with this little external drive.

The drive was easy to set up. Plug and play. I am running mine thru a USB 3.0 to thunderbolt adaptor. It seems rather speedy. There have been no problems as yet....stays connected to my Mac thru sleep cycles and wakes when needed.

Bought this to backup an external drive that has all of our pictures, music and videos. Works great and small enough to store in a safe deposit box. Great price and product.

My old computer went to computer Heaven, and I was worried about not being able to transfer my old folders. I was told about this hard drive, and it did what it was supposed to do. I was told I may not get every folder back, but to God be the glory, they were all transferred.

Purchased to use with my PS5 for my backlog of PS4 games. Works great, super easy set-up: just plug and play (it may ask you to format but if it does just click okay and it’ll do it automatically). Can’t use it to play PS5 games on but works like a charm for playing PS4 games on a PS5; Plus, after it’s set-up you can change your PS5 settings so that PS4 games are downloaded to the external Hard Drive by default. Highly recommend at the price I got it (~$50)!
