Great product lots of storage space and very compact. Loaded 20,000 songs and 600 photos with plenty of storage left. Transfer was quick.

Easy to use for Windows and or. Mac computers as is. Also ESY to simply reformat drive to allow unfettered use on only MAC computers. (Use the Built in free MAC application to do so). Quiet and small can also be used to be a full or partitioned Time Machine drive on any MAC, or if you reformat it in NTFS, can be used to store Windows images of your machine.

Good price, fast and easy to use for backup of laptop

My wife needed some extra storage space for photos and this covers exactly that. It's reliable and fast.

Easy to use, compact, and stores valuable mementos of the last almost decade. I was long overdue for an external hard drive. I ordered it online and picked it up at one of two local Best Buy stores. Easy peasy.

This hard drive is similar to many others however it is sleek and being 3.0 long lasting and quality. I will be recommending these to my customers in the future. This was specifically used for a customer with a HP stream with only 32 GB of data on their hard drive . This will allow for expansion and longer life of the laptop with limited amount of space.

So iCloud filled up like a mug, quicker than you can say “me.com” (that was a thing from Apple, seriously, look it up). As convenient as they make it seem to upload photos and store documents, they also know that people won’t delete stuff they don’t need and will rack up the higher premiums for more storage space. Fight this oppression and get a fast, sleek, portable, and affordable physical storage solution. I won’t even argue about the brand or how it measures up to others: it’s fast, sleek, and affordable, and it keeps me away from plunking twenty bucks a month to store redundant pictures, junk files and stop unknowningly reducing my bandwidth at home. Get this or another one like it, whatever floats your boat, but get one. You’ll be happy you did when the internet collapses for maintaining the cloud so dang much.

Two of our old drives were reduced to secure files on this small hard drive by a simple transfers. They files are easy to assess on my computer with a simple connector. I really like that it is small and compact.

It is very small and light, stores tons of files. Great price too!

I used it to double the available space on my Xbox One and it started with very close to a full terabyte of space even after the Xbox formatted it. It only uses a usb cable, no additional power needed. It is very small and lightweight and has a nice look to it (not cheap looking).

I bought this to go with a small SSD laptop, I have never owned a laptop with no hard drive so I purchased this to use as a backup and to transfer data to my other laptop. Small and compact compared to external hard drives for sure. I would recommend to anyone needing additional backup or storage. At 1TB I won’t rum out!

Thankfully I was able to get service after my old laptop got damaged. Geek Squad annual membership REALLY HELPED in getting my new laptop set up with my old files and recommended this storage. I needed it in order to keep all my files!

This is the second WD-Easystore External Hard Drive I bought at Best Buy. I bought it for my father. It is easy to install and now I am not worried about all of the pictures he has being lost if his hard drive crashes in the future. Also, the price was good (nice discount).
